Sales Development Representative
What We Need For This Position: • BA/BS degree preferred and 1-3 years of professional work experience in technology sales (preferred but not required) • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be a great writer, speaker, and listener • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls). • Proven work experience as a Business Development representative or similar role. • Fearlessness - willing to hop on the phone with new people every single day and explain the MMCY value proposition as it relates to everyone you speak with. • An obsession with prospect happiness - set the stage for effective sales follow-up. • The courage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it. As we continue to grow both businesses, we are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to focus on outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification. The SDR will connect with as many leads as possible. If the prospect is a good fit, the SDR will move the qualified lead to the next step of the sales process. The successful candidate will be a resilient, friendly, people-person, who has great communication skills and is highly responsible. What You Will Be Doing • Conduct internal prospect research before reaching out in order to build rapport and credibility • Log details of every customer interaction and ensure the CRM is up to date. • Follow up with leads at the right time • Educate prospects on our company, services, and ways we can help them • Research and evaluate additional leads/prospects through web research. • Promote and market MMCY business through extensive and persistent cold calling, emails and communication(s) to prospective clients. • Schedule initial prospecting meetings for the Sales Team. • Provide in-depth information for the Sales team to enable the most qualified and productive demos. • Meet or exceed the assigned quota of a minimum number of calls/emails daily. • Work together with the Director of Marketing and Sales to grow a specific sales territory. • Work with the Sales Director to support the acquisition of new accounts in the region. • Create and build awareness of special projects/events
